The Led type is a good question. When it came out 1-2 weeks ago, I saw the the listing on the Bikeray USA site as Philip LED. Since then it is not listed anymore. I had the lens off of it and it did not look like a XPG Led. The package is more of an retangular shape rather than a square shape whick is what I seen of most Cree XP-G LED used in flashlight. I took a picture of the LED.
