I don't know how you "cleaned" the chain but if you heavily solvent washed it, you removed all of the interior lube and, apparently didn't relube enough to replace it. You need to add a lot of thin oil and let it penetrate. Wipe off the excess on the exterior but you must get lube into the interior. A properly lubed chain shouldn't get noisy for at least a couple of hundred miles unless it is wet a lot.
