I don't own anything Chitmano nor do I plan to anytime soon, but do have a question about Di2. I remember reading a while back when it was first implemented in the pro peloton that someone had a rude awakening when they tried to pair it to a compact crank. Shimano came out and said it was not programed or meant for compact crancks or something like that. I can't recall the specifics. Is that still the case? Can it be used with a compact and if so with a 11/28 + compact?
