I thought last week was hot, but this week is looking even worse with the high for today forecasted at 98 F with a heat index around 105. Not looking forward to my afternoon commute, but maybe it won't be so bad if the humidity drops. I was drenched when I got to work this working with temps in the low 70s because it was muggy.
We've had highs in the 90s almost every day for the past week and it's expected to continue for the next week. I am gutting it out so my body can get acclimated to the heat and humidity. I just wish the hot weather has eased in a little slower. We went from having highs in the 70s and low 80s to mid-90s with no transition. It's like someone flipped a switch.
