First commute back after a week-plus trip to Seattle, Alaska, and BC. Let's just say that 85 degrees at 8:30 AM is a bit of a shock after a vacation in places where the high was anywhere from 55 to 72 and even cooler out on the water in the cruise ship.
Shock to the system as this morning's heat was, it still felt good to be riding again. Only "riding" I did was a few trips to the cruise ship's gym for 30 or 45 minutes here and there on the exercise bikes. Not nearly as good as the real thing.
