I had decided to get a Trek 7.3 FX so I'd only need to have one bike, but have decided I don't want to take a $700 bike with me to college when I am living on campus. So, I'm now looking to get two bikes: a mountain bike for the trails by my house and a road bike for getting around.

Anyway, I've been looking, and found a Trek 830 for sale on my craigslist for $125. It looks to be in really good shape, and would likely only need to be tuned up. If it were you, would you go for it? I'm not going to be doing any "hard core" mountain biking, just dirt and gravel trails where I live.
