Monday afternoon...



Adding the front brake on Monday saved my life today... the coaster brake would not have kept me from getting right hooked when a truck made a right turn from the middle lane (there is no turning lane) when I was alongside in the right hand through way and proceeding through to pick my girls up after school.

I chased down the driver and reamed her out for making such an unsafe turn... she thought the middle lane was also a turning lane and was very apologetic. That would not have helped if she had run me over.

How do some people get their licenses ?

This is a bad intersection and this has happened before... last time it was a gravel truck and I make it a point to ride slowly and way out in the lane and watch the traffic on my left.
