I ride the evolution and have grown to like it. I wouldn't describe it as especially comfortable, but it's not painful either and doesn't cause the same numbing that I've had with every other saddle. It took me a good 3-4 weeks of regular (uncomfortable) riding to finally adapt to it, but I've been riding it now for close to 2 years I think and have been happy. I would like to try the other widths, as this one seems like it might be a little narrow for me, but I don't have the $ for that, so for now I'm quite happy with what I have. I'd say that it's definitely worth a try. See if you can find a LBS that stocks a demo or two for you to try before spending the money. Or find a used one on ebay/craigslist to try that you'll be able to re-sell without taking much of a loss.
