Very cool. I agree with RHM, the paint looks not too bad in the pictures. I would get rid of the rust and use clear nail polish on the bare metal.

I wonder how that will handle with three grown men.... lol

I would probably clean everything up real good, and run it in original configuration to start with. Then you can change out parts if your're less than satisfied.(Just my thoughts)
