That's really what I think it is, Just this is the only thing I haven't got tools for, need to get it to the lbs. unless I could get the tool and do it myself. Is this easy to sort out? Do I need to take the crank arms off too? Once I get this sorted out, my bike will be silent, just sorted out a wobbly headset prob as it had gotten a bit loose after 150miles.
