I use dry lube. (white lightning on one bike and finish line on the other). It's perfect for your climate. The white lightning is terrible in the rain.

Just as important is how often you clean and lube. I lube about every 100-150 miles. I use a cloth to clean the chain before and after I lube and have had no issues.
