My friend's mom hooked me up with the ultimate material back in the day. It was white plastic in a T extrusion approx 2" across the top of the T and one inch deep. I was wowed by her installation of 2 lengths of it on either side of her stovetop preventing gunk from migrating down there. She gave me 8' of it and I was stoked.

Unfortunately I didn't bring it with when I moved.

Wouldn't help much with the fridge and such but stove droppings can get nasty.
