I've been looking for a merckx in my size and budget for a few weeks without any luck. Yesterday my wife and I were promoting "Bucktown Music" our family business in a festival in Chicago when i saw this;



Ok, I know the bike looks neglected and has been modded but I liked seeing it being used and not hanging in a garage. I talked to the guy a bit, he was pretty nice. He's had it for a while and he knows he has a nice bike. Sometimes I fret every nick my bikes have or an accidental bump, this made me feel silly about them. Even though I spend a lot of time riding my bikes, I should still do it more.
