Greetings,

Came across these forums a couple of days ago. Found a lot of motivation.

Have always been big, mostly because I really like food. During graduate school I lost a lot of weight and did a pretty good job of keeping it off. Well a marriage, two jobs and two kids later I had put much of it back on. On a recent trip to New Hampshire (to get measured for some custom Limmer Boots, I really like backpacking) my three year old was out hiking me on a short hike up a short hill. I decided that if I ever wanted to use the boots I would have to start reigning my weight back in.

4/25/2011 - 257lbs
6/6/2011 - 245.6 lbs

So far so good. I though it would not hurt to have some more accountability by posting my weight here for all the world to see. My primary job is a school teacher, which comes to an end in another week. With more time on the bike and being more active in general I would like to be entering the 220's when school starts in September.
