That's the easy way up. I lived at 16th & Columbia when I lived in Seattle. When I was back last year I took Pike up to Broadway a few times, something I never did when I lived there. Yet I was in my twenties then and now I'm 56. (I would swear the Comet tavern's bar was on the other side, but they swore that it hadn't ever changed. At least it's still there.)

Here in NYC, it was a warm morning, around 70 with sun. I had to walk around the block a few times to cool off. Going home was warm, but I could feel it cool down as I rode south through Brooklyn getting closer to the shore.

Tomorrow will be 85 and Wednesday and Thursday will be 95+. I think it is back to the subway where at least the trains are cool, if not the platforms.
