IMo clip in's and toe clips are for the racer boys not for the everyday rider.

That said, if you didn't like them years ago what makes you think you'll like them now???? Just ride your bike, enjoy it and forget damn clips.

Now I know I'll get flamed for not liking clips but to me I feel much much safer not being physically attached to a bike. If I wanna put my feet down I want to put them down NOW!!!!
