Thanks Bruce. My bracket actually is already bent after I pedaled too hard on the original official snubber. I don't think it'd get much worse. More importantly, I've learned to rapidly back-pedal to shift down as soon as I feel excessive pressure is being applied to the belt. However, if my mod does break down later, I'll certainly consider switching to the new official snubber.
