With the SRAM grip shifters I've used you remove a little hatch, set it aside (dont lose it), remove set screw covering the cable then remove old cable. This is on X.0 shifters. The lower end models may be different.
FWIW, I've never heard of Sram Falcon shifters. You got pics? Lower end OE spec model?
