If you dig one out of yourself, ALWAYS have it tested for Lymes disease. We dug one out of our daughter when she was three, and sent it in for testing at a cost of $20.00. A lab tech called and tried to talk me out of it, because there had been no reports of Lymes in our area, SO WHY WASTE $20.00. This was an Asian woman who was concerned about wasting money. I said, no, I want it tested, because a twenty wasn't any money compared to the consequences of a missed diagnosis. She argued with me for a few minutes, until I asked for her supervisor. Well, the test came back positive. So, my daughter was treated and is fine today.

I'm telling you, some people just don't know when to stop being cheap. It's some kind of mental disease or defect. bk
