Why just today I schooled three youngsters on a local ride that included one of the regions more challenging climbs. They tried to charge up at breakneck speed, wilted at the mid-point, allowing the old guy here to reach the crest first with a 500 meter long sprint and several bike lengths ahead. Then I crushed them on the 4 mile descent.
