I'm betting the perp. wouldn't have been executed had the family apologized to the victim's family.
The schematic included in the article has the victim riding a moped so I'm not sure she really was a bicyclist. That aside I think this is an appropriate topic for A&S since it deals with road rage. How many of us have been threatened after the car hit us? Although the perp. claimed he murdered her to avoid paying compensation I'm betting it was road rage pure and simple, how dare that bicyclist get in my way - we've all experienced that when we get cut off and then yelled at.
