The location of the handlebars in that box would have been a big concern to me. They don't look supported, they can end up slamming into the frame, causing all kinds of damage.
+1 too late now, but I would have looked for some reimbursement on the shipping, since it was obviously done poorly. You can offer that up to the seller now, in exchange for retracting your negative feedback.
