Glad my catalog link was useful. I'm not sure what year Bertoni went away from the nested B pantographs, but it was sometime prior to 1986, so the bike is definitely older than that. Any chance you've looked for a serial number on the bottom bracket shell?
The rear derailleur appears to have PAT 81 on it, so '81-'82, like TOG says, sounds good to me.
Kinda "OT" but what does "nested" mean when you refer to the B pantographs?
