I'd just like to take a moment and thank my lucky stars that nothing like that ever happened to me during my careless 20s.

EDIT: actually I guess some things that did happen were actually worse but took place while driving and/or skateboarding. And they were kinda better in a way also, so whatever. Good Times!

My only gnarly bike vs car wreck happened when I was riding my nasty 10-speed up to the killer arcade when I was about 15.
