Check out my stuff!"
You seem to have totally missed the point. I care nothing for anyone's marketing claims. I am speaking strictly of the product. There is nothing magical about resins used in braking surfaces on carbon rims. Zipp was way behind everyone else in developing well performing full carbon clinchers.

Again - you missed the obvious - I virtually a working girl when it comes to selling wheels and rims...I sell them all. I don't manufacture any. What "credibility" is at stake when I comment about the differences of offerings I have sold? These are not competitors of mine. I have nothing to "gain".

I have often gotten the impression from you that you seem to think I am abusing the forum in some way. I guess I could simply sit here and list off the number of other users that advertise their wheel businesses in their sigs (an accepted practice on BF), point out that I have put a picture and a price of my offerings into "1" thread in the 5 years I have been here and I believe that is the thread you deleted when you were a mod, point out that there are many threads on here extolling the "virtues" of other builders that are competitors of mine that continue to stick around but when identical threads about my wheels are started by my customers they are quickly moved or deleted....

I just don't get it.

I don't know how you could possibly make any assertions about my business or the impact that BF or my posting on BF has on it as you know nothing about it in reality. FWIW - very little of my business ever originates from here. I have a very thriving local presence, promote local races, have 3 racing teams registered with USAC, am title sponsor of a team in Colorado and a main sponsor of 2 additional race teams in the midwest with also key sponsorship of a huge race series in Chicago and a content driven website for cyclocross.

IIRC you and I have had a pretty good relationship going back for years so I guess I am a little mystified why after such a long absence you have felt the need to come in here and take swings at me for no apparent reason. If the issue is that you feel I have somehow damaged your ego, self-perception, value of the Zipp brand, etc. by simply stating that the product just doesn't impress me and that there are plenty of others out there that I feel produce as good (at worst) and better product...well...then I can't help you I guess.

This is equivalent to the following analogy:
Me - "Hey I customize cars. Fords, Chevys, Hondas, etc."
You - "Ford has superior safety and features. They spent a lot of time testing and designing their Ford 'anti-lock-unicorn-brake-pad-system'. This system uses the latest in unicorn anti-lock braking technology to produce superior braking. I should know. I did a lot of research before buying my car."
Me- "Does it poop rainbows when you hit the brake pedal? Listen I spend a lot of times with cars. The Ford anti-lock braking system came out after all of their competitors were producing them. It performs..well....like an anti-lock braking system. The bearings in the pumps tend to wear out really quickly though. I am sick and tired of replacing them all the time."
You - "You totally hate Ford! You are an evil man with no credibility. You're just saying that because it's Ford and you want people to buy your product."
Me-"O.K......wha?"
