Bikes: 2007 Schwinn Voyageur, 1974 Schwinn Varsity

fair enough, then again... in a story very related to the original post, when I rode the bike to the bike shop in the town to the north, also a Schwinn dealer, I asked for a 700x25 w/ schrader, he just looked at me like I was crazy, looked out the window at the bike, looked at me, walked towards it and asked if it came from Walmart. He looks at the wheels, shrugs, looks over the bike again, and found himself surprised to find it really was a bike shop model. With 700x25 schrader valves. He did sell me the tube I asked for, which leaves a real connundrum, if he didn't think it likely I actually had that type of tube, why did he have them to sell in the first place? (My main and emergency pump work with both, but I have never had to use a presta valve.)
