No, ItalVega did not spec bar end controls. I could only find a 1976 catalog online, this is before, when they specified european parts on european bikes. This bike shows a owner who upgraded lots of parts on a frame he liked, probably did not change the headset as the stack height of Campagnolo was too great for what was available. The bike presents pretty well as I said, keep it whole.
