Hey all,
I'm new to the forums but from what I've read it looks like this is an extremely helpful and inviting forum. I hope someone can help me out and I'll be able to return the favor at some point.
There's a lot of bikes and I'm not quite sure what I should pick. I used to ride BMX during middle school and high school but now that I am half way through college I'm looking for a bike that I can ride around on pavement, bike paths. I would also be curb hopping once in a while and going over a few small bumps/jumps, nothing in excess of maybe a few inches, however.
From what I've gathered, I think I would be comfortable on a mountain bike or a hybrid bike, but I am unsure which is a better option for what I want. (Possibly a mountain bike with street/trail tires?) I want the bike to be able to climb hills, be somewhat lightweight and sturdy, as well as be able to traverse the terrain I mentioned above. I also want to stick to the sub $500 range.
Here is the top bike on my list thus far:

Any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you,
Illumin
