After a week and a half of miserable smoky conditions I finally got free time and clear air lined up yesterday afternoon. Besides, I was pumped by the stage-end drama in the Cirterium de Dauphine.
Went out for a not so quick quick 14 miles down Newberry Road to Jonesville, then up 241 and back up 39th Ave. (All Hail Florida, land of the Omnidirectional Headwind). 's too bloomin' HOT in the afternoons. I'm thinking maybe I should talk my boss into letting me work 10-7 once or twice a week so's I can get up and get a long early ride in occasionally.
