No Alps in Maryland. But, once you are inland, its nothing but steep rollers...one after another after another. If you go west, then the climbs get longer, similar to West Virginia, but not as long. Back in the day, when the farmers had to get over a hill...they just cut a road strait up the side! None of this zig-zagging crap.....
