Thanks. Just that I'm carrying my little one in a front mounted seat and would like to get over any street as fast or as direct as I can. Since this is a pretty major road and even though the speed limit is 55 I think, most cars go around 65-70 easy.

If I have to go make the u-turn, that means I would be on the passing lane for a half block. Might have to do this late in the evenings or early mornings on the weekends then.

I'm not as "dare devil" as some cyclists I see taking up the entire lane on the same stretch. That's crazy with cars going that fast.
