The work that i did to the bike includes.

Clean bearings and new grease in the headset ,bottom bracket and pedals.
Slightly longer stem.
Better brake levers.
New Simplex single gear lever.
Front simplex competition hand rod derailleur.
Different tyres.
Remove excess equipment , rear rack and lights.

I like this bike as it is in good condition and rides great and has enough patina to show it's age.
