Say bye bye to your video console and tv for a while kiddo

For me looks broken and sincerely it will be better for your dad to get new shifters than fix this ones, so far all looks rusty and shifters arent that expensive. The most expensive back in the day is the cheapest stuff now so... there is a broken plastic plus who knows whats wrong with the internal and add super rusty lines. If its like an 8 speed MTB new shifters are super cheap.

Talk with your mom 1st then with your dad, probably u can learn something while you guys put the parts in.
