Update: Was not able to buy the miche, was too late. sold already.

So i got the Vuelta cranks. So i greased up the taper and cranks, bolted it in. It feels secure and all but how far do i pump that bolt in? It felt secure and it was somewhat hard to bolt in the nut already halfway. But I muscled it in almost all the way to the big difference in width, maybe 1-2mm away.



Is that supposed to be where the cranks go or did i go too far? I fear I may have done something wrong. It has a really good chainline right now but the ring is on the inside so it doesnt look so pretty.


Also, kind of offtopic but, why is it better to have a 55/20 gear ratio instead of 44/16?
