steerer tube length question...
i know the general rule is for the steerer to be 2-3mm max below the top of the stem and more importantly, the top bolt should be on the steerer.
i wanted to raise my stem, but it would put the steerer about 5mm below the stem. however, i am using a thomson elite MTB stem and since the spacing between the 2 bolts on the stem is minimal (unlike the X4 and X2) and even with the steerer being 5mm below, the top bolt is on the steerer.
i'm ok...right?
