The shop offers 2 free tune-ups during the lifetime of the bike. The guy who sold me the bike recommended I take it in for the first time in a week or two (after 5-7 rides) to adjust for any cable stretch, and then for the second time next spring after it had sat in the garage during the winter.

I'll take it for a test ride later, if things don't seem to be fixed then I'll certainly hold off on riding it until I have a chance to take it in.
