Thinking about upgrading to this Sugino Alpina compact crank 48/34 on my 90s 7-speed Davidson Impulse. Beautiful piece of equipment. It would replace the stock Shimano 105 53/42. I need lower gearing for hills.

Anyone have experience with Sugino cranks; specifically the Alpina?
