Yeah, but what about the wheels? It's one thing to make a 24" wheel that can take the impact of a 150 pound rider landing on it from 20 feet. It's another thing to make a 29" wheel do the same thing with a 200 pound rider (generalizing based on the age of BMX and aging MTB riders). Obviously you
can make a wheel arbitrarily strong, but I don't see many entry level wheels that can take a hit like that.
That said, I've never known how to land a jump like that, so maybe I'm just putting more force into the landing with my imagination than needs to be there.
