There is nothing wrong with eating meat.
The problem lies with the way modern food animals are raised. They suffer in very poor conditions and have a terrible quality of life.
I am a vegan, but only because I refuse to support factory farming (the vast majority of meat/eggs/dairy comes from factory farms). If people weren't such souless, apathetic bastards and raised farm animals with respect, I would have no problem with eating meat.

This concern is completely without foundation. I weighed 170ish before I went vegan, now I weigh over 180
and I'm leaner. Nine time Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis always ate vegan during training.
FYI, I ride on average 160 miles a week, and feel stronger now than before I went Vegan. And I take NO supplements. Not even a multivitamin.
