Or they could just release a product properly and post specs of their pride an joy. Infact, I think I also remeber seeing that spec sheet at cyclemode bike show here in Tokyo when they were also displaying the 11 Alfine. It just seems that manufactures love to hide stuff away. Drives me bonkers.

BTW anyone considering an upgrade, given the costs of the Versa shifters and Alfine 11. The Versa 11 shifters appear to work fine on the Alfine 8. So you could in theory just do a staged upgrade. First get the shifters, and when you get more money grab the 11 hub.
