Was riding out there yesterday, but in a hurry, so I didn't get a fresh image, but the issue is still there.

Sent this to ODoT, WashCo BTC, the BTA, bike injury attorneys, Tigard's Mayor, a traffic engineer, and members of the media...

I've been complaining about several of the "Black Hole" catch basins in the bike lanes on both sides of SW Hall Blvd. between SW Sattler St./SW Ross St. and SW Hamlet for years. The photo below shows only one location of the two located in front of 15520 SW Hall. I couldn't locate my other images, but be certain, I could go out and take more if needed.

"Black Holes" are recessed storm drain grates that lurk in bike lanes. These can hurt your back, arms and backside when you drop unexpectedly inside. They can cause a loss of control and possibly cause a crash when a cyclist hits one unexpectedly at night, especially if it's concealed by a layer of leaves in fall.

Is there something that can be done about these things?

Thanks
