good deal?
a little background, i'm switching from a single speed/fixed gear (i know i bought into the fad, but at least this is what got me into riding). Bike will also be used for a work commute, 1 mile each way.
So my LBS has a deal on a new 2010 specialized allez sport triple, $650. This is a little more than i wanted to spend, i was hoping to stay around $500, but the extra $200 (bike will be 700 after taxes) isn't that much of a stretch if it's really worth it.
I guess my questions are; is the bike a good deal? If not, what other bikes would you recommend in my price range?
