Imagine being out on the road and cutting a tire casing. Where do you go to get a replacement? The internet is the only place to get them. They'd probably take wierd spoke lengths, too. You might have aproblem replacing a broken spoke.

I'm staying with 26" and 700C.
This is the third year my wife has had her 650b.

She uses a very thin tire ( the Cypres) and while she has yet to have a flat
I keep a spare in the parts bin.

They sell different spoke sizes, no biggie.

I liked hers so much I got a 650b for myself.

They aren't fast, but the cush is nice on a long ride.
