Shimano Biopace crankset

OK so I took apart my '88ish Shimano crankset a few weeks ago and am now trying to reassemble them. Of course I forgot the sequence of disassebley and cannot seem to get it back correctly. It's where the washers go that's the main problem. Inside of the ismall chain ring doesn't look right, outerside of small ring seems to leave too big a gap between small and mediium rings. Inside of middle ring leaves the locking nut extended out too far and outside on middle ring seems to leave a gap with the crank arm.

Any advice? Anyone have one of these who can tell me the sequence?

The bike is a Giant Sedona. I've stripped it down and am rebuilding it as a commuter but this project is really getting dragged out.

Thanks.
