On a pickup, SAG heads straight back to the start/finish anyway. Unless there's another pickup to be made on the way, they make the whole run for one or two bikes.

IIRC, insurance won't let them carry riders in the bed, and they already run with a driver and radio/phone guy, so they can only pick up two, maybe three in an extended cab truck anyway.
