Bike Barn in the Houston area has been pretty good about having parts in stock that i need, and if they don't have it, chances are one of their other locations has it and they can have it transferred within a day or two (or if it's within reasonable driving distance i'll just go get it myself). i went in looking for a bottom bracket one day a couple weeks ago, they'd just used the last one of that particular kind on a repair. so the guy checked the inventory at their other stores, called the manager of the next closest store that had it in stock, and had him set it behind the counter so it was waiting for me when i got there.
