This. We're an importer and distributor of stuff like campag, wilier, pinarello, lake, fulcrum, vredestein, deda, a few other things. So wholesale business for us is always steady. We also do sport stuff as well and wholesale it also, supply schools, e.t.c.
We're busy enough all year round but still, there has to be something for 6 full time mechanics and 3 part time mechanics to do. As well as 35 retail (on the floor, talking to customers) staff. This year we've actually moved into establishing a decent website, as well as advertising on www.bikeexchange.com.au. It's made a huge impact already-online enquires easily eclipse people coming in for a look-and indeed, if they do, it's because of what they saw online.

The thing is, most people don't leave their computer chair to go shopping. So shops have to step up, and deliver marketing to them. There are hundreds of shops in Australia that are onto this.
