You can not really feel the difference between bike drivetrains or wheels or anything like that.
Definately not when comparing similarly equipped bikes.
The only thing you can feel is the position and that is also the most important thing but very personal.

Anyone telling you they can feel that difference are probably also those people telling you that they can hear the difference between an MP3 or a CD and that they can taste the difference between $50 and $10 wine.
Double blind testing will prove them wrong every single time.

There are many things vastly more important on a bike than the drivetrain, although you don't want it too cheap either if you're going to make use of it a lot.
