Thing One and Thing Two did a tri this weekend. Thing One is a sprinter, and it showed. He fell apart on the run, but his glory was the day before, when he nailed his freestyle time at the swim meet. He's been swimming 9 weeks and went from 22.5" to 16.8" in the 25y free.

Anyway, Thing Two is not much of a sprinter, but she's extremely determined, light, and fit. She got third in her age group! She actually completed the course only 45" slower than Thing One, who is 2 years older.
