lol yeah, I think we'll see some bike races in their future. They do a couple kids' fun laps around here, but there aren't any competitive events around here for them until age 10. Thing One is 9...

I guess I could look into MTB racing for them, but it would be much better for the family if a couple of us were racing at the same location on a given day, rather than having to split up or forgo one race/venue.

Right now, we just ask them if they want to do "X," and that could be a tri, bike race, soccer tournament, flag football, swim team, whatever. They say "yes!" to most of it. Thing Two is REALLY interested in more tris now though. She would have gotten 2nd without the helmet screwup in transition, and I think she wants to try to make some corrections in July's tri.
